Well we seem to have posts for everything but a dedicated 44sp post! So lets see them... Lipsey's 44sp with a set of Bullshooter Holly grips and a El Paso Saddlery Tom Threepersons holster. The holster is a lot better than I thought it would be and the gun handles so much better with these new grips! Dick left the grips unfinished and oversized for me to fit and finish to my taste. I left them a little big figuring I could always go smaller but I think I will let them be. I do need to refinish them and sand them out with far finer grip sand paper than I used this time around, too many scratches are showing... I have really gotten to like this gun, I think I have 700 or so rounds through it so far.

They just fit me so much better. The hammer and trigger on this .44 special spent time in my 44 mag anniversary until it was Bisley-ized. 290gn hard cast at 1350 fps combined with an XR3 and checkered grips was bad juju.

Bill....if you're only going to own one, that's not a bad one to own. I'm still kicking myself for not buying one when they came out in the 90s. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Yep Lee, and it's a no dash first year gun too. I looked for four years before I found one. Bill
