I just got my June 09 Handloader. There's a good article by Brian Pearce on the Lipsey's Ruger Blackhawk .44 Special. Brian is becoming a favorite author of mine. The article is well done with loads tested & results of those tests. Great article. I think you will enjoy it. Thanks Frank

Handloader has become one of my favorite gun mags. I'm not much into rifles but I still enjoy their reporting on them. They always seem to pick the handguns that interest me and Brian Pearce is a no nonsense writer. Just great honest writting on loads, ammo, and guns.

Handloader and American Handgunner are the only two I buy anymore. I don't think any of the other rags are near as good as these two.

I'm with TEXASFIVEGUN. The only mags I purchase (subscribe to) any more are the Handgunner and Handloader. They are both well written and informative. I too enjoy reading Brian's articles. I always learn something when reading his articles. The 44 Special article was a good one.
