Just got mine out of the safe and looking at it now...first single action revolver that started a life long obsession...Dad gave it to me for my 16th birthday.
Went everywhere with me, shot my first rattlesnake with it. Rolled around in the floorboard of my pickup, and has been dropped and nicked up with use. Looks EXACTLY like you'd expect a revolver given to a kid would look.
They're great guns, fun to shoot and cheap to feed. Enjoy!!

Don't let it ever be anything but 357.

Don't let it ever be anything but 357. But if it stays a 357, it'll always be embarrassed when it goes to the range with the .4whatever" calibers. The revolver will have developmental issues and may need therapy. When you shoot it and the front sight doesn't kiss the brim of your hat you'll feel lessened and just put it in the safe to never be pulled out again. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm joking of course as I have one exactly like it. Well not exactly, but it started out the same and I love that revolver. I've considered how as I got the .4whatever" calibers I didn't shoot my 357 much. At some point I pulled it out again and enjoyed it's light recoil, great accuracy, and overall fun factor and began to take the 357 serious. No, I'm not taking it elk hunting (can't seem to find any elk in South Carolina) but the steel I shoot is definitely worried. The next time lscg posts some grips that tickle your fancy, snag them and that 357 will look even better!

I've had them drop right in and others need minor fittings. Depending on where you live you may be able to fund a smith locally to fit it.

That's a nice one, the bbl length is perfect for a costant companion six-gun!

That's a nice one, the bbl length is perfect for a costant companion six-gun! It's going to make a nice camping gun. I've got a Bell Mountain base pin on the way for it. Other than that, it's going to stay as-is and get shot a ton.
