Here is my 441T. I was told 20 some odd years ago the T stood for Target. It is one of my favorite handguns.

The earlier Taurus revolvers were fine guns. A 3" stainless model 66 has been my car/truck gun for 25 years.

Nice looking gun...
I have three Taurus revolvers all in .41 Magnum....4" Tracker stainless and two titanium in 4" and 6". Had another 4" Ti and a 5" stainless .22 Magnum that was a great shooting gun that a friend still has...
...always hear about the bad ones...not the two million good ones.

I have a 3", 431 that rides in my car mostly. I also carry it during archery season. Stoked with 180g XTP factory loads or with 240g SWC-HP/250g WFN at 900fps. Just enough "oomph" for most any 2 legged or 4 legged critter here in the North East. Mike

Is it marked 441T anywhere, or do you need the box to tell? I know of a 4 in with adjustable sights.

I had the 4" adjustable sighted model in stainless. A friend of mine has it now.

Is it marked 441T anywhere, or do you need the box to tell? I know of a 4 in with adjustable sights. They are marked with a T. All of the "T" guns I know of have the heavy 6" barrel with a full lug. I have seen 6" guns with the 1/2 lug like the model 66 357 marked 441 and there is no doubt in my mind that they will shoot too. I have seen some 4" guns with the full lug and some without. Either way if they were made during that time period they should be good.
