Picked up this M94 SRC 45 Colt yesterday via a swap with a kind gent on the Ruger Forum for a nickel'd OM 357 I had. He had commented some time ago that if I ever wanted to sell let him know. I have been lurking for one for a bit so things just worked out. Now I need to sort out a load for it.

Congratulations
I acquired one of those last fall, 94 SRC 45 Colt, a fun little rifle and a good companion to some of my Rugers. I use 300 XTPs and a stout load of W296. The reason for the XTPs is that I loaded a boat-load of ammo for my Blackhawks and discovered they didn't appreciate the XTP, they prefer cast.
I have geezerly eyes and put a set of Williams peep sights on it.

Congrats on four score! I hope to pick up a M94 in .30-30 sometime this year...I've always wanted one.

That's what I need as well. Which did you buy and where does it mount?

I put XS sights on my 94 and haven't looked back. Group size shrank appreciably. If you have the angle eject version its already drilled and tapped, sits astride the bolt. If you don't, williams makes some that use existing holes.

Mine is angle eject and bolts to the top in the pre-existing holes.
I use the Williams FP-94SE as I recall. I drilled the hole out as large as I could in the screw in aperture and blackened it with Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black.

Fun gun to start the year off with! Better keep your eye on it when your boy is near. I love mine and the old geezer that I bought it from put on a Swift 4x Wide Field in see through rings. This acts almost like a scout rifle. It likes 250 grn XTP's with 2400, enough to get them to 1400 fps or so. It will hold 1" groups as long as the barrel is cool, then it starts to open up.
