I have worked on a project in the area, I lived in Tulelake. It is a beautiful part of the world north of Klamath Falls. Great pics.

I have worked on a project in the area, I lived in Tulelake. It is a beautiful part of the world north of Klamath Falls. Great pics. Curtis. Thank you and yes, it's beautiful. When we came here we were "settling" in a sense as we were looking for a nicer, larger structure and the reputation of the Rez didn't help anything. Thank goodness we followed our gut and took a chance. I can't imagine living anywhere else, but when I was 21 I said the same thing about the east side of Portland. Life, time and perspective are odd things.

I went to OIT in 88-90 and had a great time there. It was a great Red-Neck college, left my shotgun and deeks in my truck (sometimes the dog too) and ran out to the lake or stateline to hunt ducks and geese right after class. Sometimes I had to race a professor or two to get a good spot! It was a great time to be in the Klamath Basin, great school if you are an outdoorsman because there isn't much else to do there. Used to drive around your neck of the woods from time to time just looking at country, very pretty up there.

You don’t happen to have a Ruger Blackhawk with an old set of ivories on it do you?😁 Yes sir, and still the only revolver I ever purchased for the stocks. Ironically, the BH shoots 6 gr. Red Dot or 11 gr. HS-6 and a 250 RNFP like crazy and the ivories sit waiting for me to find someone to set the escutcheon better. Now that grip frames are everywhere due to Mr. Wells it may be time to buy a birdshead and have them trimmed down properly. Last we had an exchange I believe my daughter was in the oven. Here we are around August '19. Old Model Dad and his Old Model .41 and a New Model Baby and her New Model(?) cap gun. She turned one 11/27 and already rides down her puppy and counts herself a Bronc Peeler, certified even, but she's got a bit to learn from those Wood River Valley cowboys.

Sounds like you’re down we’re that southern Oregon wolf pack is giving that one rancher fits. Yes and they are here in greater numbers than our state would have us believe. I have seen with my own eyes an individual wolf three times and watched a pack run through the woods a few years ago. Klamath County only had one recorded kill this year. We find ourselves firmly sided with the cattlemen and have no illusions as to just how shockingly powerful and violent a predator they are.
