New Play Room is Taking Shape

Being home for the month has allowed me to get the garage boxes unpacked and my handloading stuff somewhat arranged. The cast bullets, powder and primers are arranged in a closet in the house. I do need to figure out how best to store my brass that is currently stuffed into the bottom left cabinet. Maybe next trip home. It is nice to have some room for a change. The Hornady LnL press came for Christmas from my wife. I loaded my first 200 44 Specials with it and am quite pleased. My 11 year old worked on his erector set to the right while I loaded. The orange 4 wheeler is what my wife wanted for Christmas. Well that and cowboy hat, boots and a cowgirl belt to wear while she works it.

That is one big danged garage right there now! Very nice set up. Not sure where you live, but have you given any thought to closing off your reloading area to heat or air condition it?

Yes, at 1850 sq ft it is larger than my first house and one of the main reasons I bought the place as I plan to install a small lathe, mill, etc., down the road prepping for a retirement hobby. At this point I will leave it as is. The garage is very well insulated. It and the entire house are built with 2x6 walls so hot or cold have not been a problem. I was working in it when it was in the mid-30's with no problem and it very rarely gets colder than that. Same for the summer when it was 100 F. Still quite reasonable particularly with the high ceiling. I am on a biy of acreage in the Hill Country. I'll see how it goes.

That 4 wheeler looks about like my B3030 that sets out by the barn! Amazing how much wear and tear on an old body those things can save!
