Just got one of those kind of emails that you always look forward to or hope to get from some one as well Respected as David Clements. As Follows. David Clements Attachments 5:00 PM (26 minutes ago) to me Ronnie, This is the completed .44 Special I built using the Bisley jr alloy frame and grips you sent. Note where the bisley trigger sits in frame. It's perfect. The frame is a perfect combo with the midframe Ruger in .44. David Love this Gun. Diggin the hell out of the front sight. We were working on the trigger guard placement so that the trigger David designed would be in the perfect spot that it is in. Just Right , when cocked you have to tickle the rear/inside just a smidge so that it acts like a trigger stop. Just thought we would pass this along. R

It is a Paper Based Heat treated Micarta that i got from a friend in the electrical control cabinet bussiness. He found it from a Plastics specialty company they use. It is the same place i get my CE Black from. They told us that this particular type is compressed harder than the rest. It is part Number KHS 600 IV. Expensive as Hell, $ 2600 dollars for A 79" X 36" BUT IT MACHINES LIKE A DREAM MAN! Tough as hell so we will see how it lasts.

I know I'm watching the USPS website for our stuff coming from Houston! My issue will be to decide which gripframe to fit up first. Will it be the PJ Jr. on the Single Six or the Dealer on one of the Blackhawk's. I plan to take some photos of the process and add them to a new thread. Probably will call the thread something like "Knuckle Dragger and Master Grinder whip out the files".
It's a nice place to be waiting to open the box...
