Guess I’m doing something off. Can only get the link to post. At least the link works. I am amazed at the Absolute Quality of these frames. They bolt on so precisely, so it’s just fit the edges to your firearm. If I can do this, ANYONE can. I’m certainly no gunsmith. Wow, does the brass look great on Stainless steel. I put it on a Reeder 500 Linebaugh with a 6” barrel, as I have a matched pair. One round one Octagon, both Bisley’s both 6”. I will attempt some videos, from the bench, using the same load, showing the difference of recoil using ( RW Gripframes, Bearskinner 4 degree frame) and a stock Ruger Bisley.

Ronnie, can you do an overlay using an original Colt Bisley against several of your Ruger designs? That would be very helpful for folks like myself that like the original Colt Bisley grip. Thanks, Mike White

The nice thing about making these frames out of billet instead of casting ( it’s much stronger for one) is you can program the computer to do anything. I shoot one handed, big boomers, little plinkers etc. on longer shots I place my left hand under the grip frame, palm up and sometimes use my off ( left) pointer finger under the trigger guard, to help with fine adjustments. This bearskinner frame is the same width (Front to Back) as the Ruger Bisley. The 4 degrees makes a wonderful difference, the slight ducktail has been removed from the rear of the lower frame, then the light radius’s F and R on the bottom. On monster loads, as the gun comes back and starts to lift, a Ruger no 5 type frame, drags or snags on my off hand, as they are pointed in the rear. The Bearskinner frame base is actually lifted that same 4 degrees in the rear lower. You probably would not notice it by looking at it, but you can feel it! When it feels good in hand, you just shoot better. The little extra trigger guard room is a nice little bit of insurance. It’s snowing like crazy out, so it may be a while till I can get a few videos made on recoil lift and difference’s. Time to start working on my next frame.

Ronnie, do you have the original Colt style bisley with the 4 degree forward? That 4 degree may help my bad wrist. Thanks Mike

That looks great, can't wait for my 4* bisley to show up, it's going on my 5 1/2" super blackhawk , should be a huge improvement over the xr3-red grip frame it came with.
