It is safe to use data for a heavier bullet with a lighter bullet, but not the other way around. As with all loading data, start with the minimum and work your way up in steps looking for pressure signs.

Details needed. What gun ? Specific bullet ? Powders on hand ? Find and check data against several sources. You can't have enough manuals(BOOKS). People will hesitate to offer data without details, or a handle on you, your loading experience. You did come to the right place.

This is why I gave a simple answer. For any given gun, data for the 240 grn can be used to work up loads for the 220s.
