First attempt. Used a scrap piece of figured maple from a custom pen order. Alcohol stain and matte finish.

That Super Hunter looks nice enough on it's own,, but your grips set it off quite nicely.
Making grips is fun,, and can be very rewarding. I've made several sets,, and have plans to make several more when time allows.
Great job there!

I earned a living off of selling custom grips online for Rugers for ten years before health problems made me quit.
And guess what, it all started with me making a single pair of grips for myself just like you did. As someone else said, you'll only get better now that you know the process. Good job.
