I was there in about '81. What I remember most is the Hamer Remington M81 he used in the Bonnie and Clyde shoot out. They also had the glass balls used in aerial exhibition shooting.

I make a trip there every time I go to Waco to visit family. My wife has learned to stay at the house; in fact, I've gone alone over the last few years because of "the time you take looking at the same things you've seen 100 times already!"
Great pictures. Glad you went, and glad you posted.

That little shorty Colt SAA of the Lone Wolf’s is quite a nice looking gun.

Thank you for taking the time to do this Zane.
I want to go there myself. Didn’t know about it until you posted this thread.

Great pictures. Thanks for sharing. My wife and I were there in March on our way to visit our Son's family at Fort Hood. As long as he is stationed there I plan to make a few more stops in Waco. It is well worth the time.
I really liked Walter Russell's flat top target. It is shown as a "Bisley" but that grip frame sure looks similar to a #5.

I too went there around 1981, when I was first stationed at Fort Hood. I was very impressed by their collection at the time, and I see that it has grown since then. I was especially impressed by Frank Hamer's guns. I wish those old guns could talk!
