Been thinking hard of getting one to be the assigned truck gun. Anyone know if the 20 is built on a 20g size receiver? Those that have one do you like it?

It looks like the 12 and 20 are the same as per Axe.
The Remington Tac-14 20 gauge, is on a smaller receiver than their 12 gauge Tac-14. I have one of each, and like the 20, but the stocks are the same as the 12. The pistol grip uses an adapter to make the larger grip fit the smaller frame, and it looks like the Magpul fore stock is also 12 gauge size. I don't have either of the Mossberg Shockwaves, so I can't help with that.
Mobjack Seeing no use for the Tac-14, even though I have bought five of them, but I sure do like them. And I just might buy another one to give the finger to the NFA.

A Remington v3 tac 13 has caught my attention. I'm pretty certain I need it. Just not sure why I need it. ;-)

The 20 gauge Shockwave is easy to shoot... buckshot, slugs, #9 whatever...

Anyone trying to find a use for the short barreled shot shooters ( the not shotguns), look at the channel " Demonstrated Concepts LLC" on YouTube. Completely changed the way I use my TAC 14"s", I now have 4 that I shoot often. When I worked for "Uncle Sam" I carried an Ithaca 37 that was bobbed to 24 inches, muzzle to butt.Am very happy with mine, and way more effective at shooting them.

Very old thread now, I loved my Shockwave, but Krooked Kathy the so called governor made them illegal, so I sold it cheap and sent it away.

I have four in storage NIB. I bought mine just so I had them before someone passed another piece of paper. Thought about making a full drop leg holster for one for when I spend time on the ranch at the coast. We come across rattlers moderately often and this is the perfect kind of use for them. I went Mossberg cause I heard they work with the Aguila shorty shells. Bumps capacity to (as I remember) around 10+1.

I have a 12 ga. , like the shorty shells. They do need the rubber filler block to be reliable.

A regular Mossy 20 is smaller than the 12, a friend has one, she loves it.
