Seeing Max's elephant hide holster for his optic fixed BFR on his African hunt, reminded me, that I only have two scoped handgun holsters ( both designed for Contenders, both pretty old, both chest holsters, one leather, one nylon ) Thinking in the next year, I'd like to add a couple nice leather, maybe more model specific holsters... would like to see any holsters you guys have for either reflex or tube type dot sights or conventional pistol scopes, & who the makers were... thanks

Thanks for the links... some brands I'd not heard of or seen yet

Most of these will be custom propositions. Consider the Freedom Arms holsters to get you going while you wait on your leather to be made since it's immediately available.
Gary Reeder also has nice looking leather for scoped pistols, but I've never handled any of it.
Aside from that, it's the usual suspects: Von Ringler, Barranti, El Paso Saddlery, etc.

I wasn’t sure what I wanted, but I did know I wanted some sort of chest holster for my scoped 7 1/2” bisley. I decided to buy one off ebay from skyball mountain holsters. It was under $50. It really isn’t bad. I am not trekking through the mountains just going to my deer hunting spot.

I'm going to be copying Max's revolver. Mine has to go back to Magnum Research for the grip frame conversion and once it gets back it'll have a Ultradot-30 on it.
After that, I already saved the holster Max posted because I loved the simple design of it, so I'll be replicating it and making my own in the future.

Reeder has a scoped holster that works great with a black hawk framed revolver w/ ultra dot sight

This is another good option for typically under $200.00, the Galco Kodiak Hunter. I dragged my BFR in .454 up and down mountains in South Africa and it served me well.

One of my favorites from Barranti That's gorgeous! What does the back side look like if you have an available picture?

I wanted the optic encapsulated by the holster.
