I love progress....
Ruger changed their information on their website that provided serial number ranges for each of their different past offerings. It was easy to use and informative, especially when looking at custom revolvers to determine what the base gun was.
Now...you have to enter a serial number for a particular gun and it will spit out the info.
IMO not nearly as useful.

You may be able to google that specific page or pages and then hit the cache button. That will pull up the old page(s). From there you can screen shot it or print it to a pdf for future reference. I have done that many time in the past for pages that are no longer "public" or displayed. Nothing really ever goes away on the net, it just becomes harder to find.

I'm told that the current configuration is even less accurate than the old format was. It had several known errors, or lack of info on specific variants.
