Is the retail price list on their site the actual price one pays? Any other way to order a revolver than going directly through their website? Thanks

I have bought all of mine through an out of town FA approved dealer and had them shipped to my FFL. As I recall, there are several. In this day and age I am sure you can arrange the entire order and purchase online and have it shipped to your local FFL.

I did a favor for a stocking FA dealer about 6 years ago. Dealer told me I could order any FA at his cost which was 25% off MSRP. Purchased two at this price. The dealers name is not important as he did me a favor. Only passing this along so you have a sense as to what they cost. He was/is a small dealer so a larger one might even get more % off. My gut tells me if you can get 10-12% off MSRP you are doing good.

The 25% off was across the board and applied to all the options as well.

25% is way high. There isn’t that much difference in retail and dealer. He did you a big favor and lost money on the deal.

I bought my last one from a dealer, even though my FFL lets me order at dealer price. The dealer had a few year old model and with FAs regular price increases, the price was close enough to current dealer price that I bought it rather than place an order. Plus the one I bought had a really nice test target!

I have a Dealer catalog that I picked up at the last SHOT Show I attended. It is a 2016 price list and I know there has been at least one price increase since that time.
For a base model 97 the retail at the time was $2309.00 for the centerfire guns. The Dealer price was $1962.35.
For the 83 the list price was $2848.00 for .500/.475/.454 and $2743.00 for .44/.41/.357. Dealer was 2420.80 and 2335.55....so that is only a 15% discount...
