I have a 4.2 inch Redhawk in 44 mag that is my woods carry gun.
I am slowly switching over my revolvers to v notch rear and front dot ( gold bead on most) because I am able to pick up the front sight better with my eyes.
I happened to glace at the XS sights.
I currently have a big dot on a snubby sp 101 and really do like it. The sp101 only has the rear sight cut into frame, not a traditional rear adjustable sight
Has anyone run them on their revolvers with v notch rear and how do you like them?
Im thinking that might be an option for my 4"

I used to put the Ruger V-notch rears on several revolvers,, but I've been switching them to a different type as my eyes have changed over the years. Only you & your eyes can determine what works for you! I have a set of XS sights on one of my guns, and find the dot to be too big in general. But it works for that SD snubby.

I have an XS dot front for a GP100 that went with a Bowen RC V-notch rear. The combo worked great for my needs at that time. I have since replaced the rear blade with white outline notch and green FO front. I soon plan to go to a regular target front blade eventually.
