UPDATE!!! The gun arrived today. It's is definitely a .512. Overall, very nice and worth the price. Couple of downsides: 1) No free spin pawl and 2) No locking base pin. I guess I'll be looking for 500 Linebaugh stuff.

Have you checked chamber length on it? I say that because the one marked "500 Max" from the same seller was on a regular blackhawk frame also. I would have to think there is a chamber difference between the two from the same builder.

Kinda of difficult to measure, but seems about the length of the 475.

I sent him some of your 540 gr. MIHA lead for grins! Almost tossed in some loaded rounds with full house H-110 but decided not to ruin his day! He mentioned 475 rounds earlier so I know he's not a neophyte.
Montana Bullets 450 gr are highly recommended though!

It recoils less than 450 gr fullhouse 1300+fps load. |
