Thank you everyone. I'm hoping to get some more done on this one soon. I've got quite a few projects going on at the moment though. I'll keep posting pictures as I go.

I could look at build pictures all day. The metal finishing looks great, and I really like how the flats of the barrel just barely fit that frame section.
What all has been done to the frame and did you make the cylinder from scratch? It all looks top-notch.

I have opened the cylinder window, squared up both faces that the cylinder contacts the frame, and squared up the face of cylinder frame perpendicular to the base pin hole.
Yes, I made the cylinder from scratch about 12 years ago when I built my 5 shot Blackhawk 454. I made it a switch cylinder 454/45. But since I never use the 45 cylinder in that gun, I figured that I would build a gun around the cylinder.
I'm actually having thoughts about opening the cylinder to 480 Ruger and making a new barrel. I don't own anything in 475cal. Plus the chambers don't lineup perfectly in that frame.

Bad picture, but I did do a little blending of the front of the sight.

Do you mind if I ask your background that you have the tools and skills to pull all this off?

I'm a tool and die maker. Modifying firearms are a walk in the park compared to my everyday job. Every few years or so we make a prototype gun for a company that will remain unnamed. We do have our firearm manufacturing license, and keep kicking around the idea of production of our own firearm. We dipped our toes in customizing Glocks for awhile, but that wasn't a good fit for us. I didn't like working on them anyway, just felt wrong. When it comes to automatic pistols, I'm 1911 all the way. Lol

And what's the welding on the decked grip frame?
Sorry, I'll try to be done with the questions!
I'm sure we'd all love to see your other projects, but I'm guessing the scratch built guns are off limits.
