Great day...got the Bearcat dirty! Only rounds on hand were factory Black Hills 32 H&R 85 grain JHP, and a few of their 90 gr FPL cowboy loads. Both shot extremely well to POA at 7 and 15 yrds. And a real pleasure to shoot. The new sight picture, with that squared off dovetail up front, and the Clements pre-war rear, allows for such improved precision for me. A greatly improved trigger helps too. What a handy little package! It's been on my hip, or in my vest pocket, for three days now. The little shopkeeper is about perfect for walking the dog or jumping in the truck. Waiting on my .312 sizing die...then will have a lot of experimenting to do with the cast bullets from the Miha molds I've been gathering. Here's the new Bearcat today next to it's larger brother, the Single Seven. Did David say anything to you about handloading for the 32 HRM in this 5-shot platform? - Factory pressure - Ruger/S&W pressure levels as shown in Handloader mag? - 45k psi like the 327 Fed???

Same cylinder as the 327 Magnum so no doubt good to the same pressure.

Who did the Birds head conversion on your single seven? That's the 3.75" Single Seven, I think was a Lipsey's exclusive if I remember correctly? Only change from factory are the American Holly grips by Zane at LSCG.

David reports barrel to be .311, and as one might anticipate he advised to size cast to .312. Reports gun is set up for cartridge OAL at 1.47".

This revolver will get special treatment from me. I'll measure throats and have a sizer die built specifically for it.
Of course, the 100 grn XTP will do all I ever need. But, the 125 grn Rim Rock Bullets intrigue me more than any other.
Will be the best Trail Gun in existence...

Looked at Clements web site but saw nothing specific to bearcat conversions. Does he rebore the barrel? How much are these running for the 327 conversions? 32 H&R same $? I have always liked the Bearcats with the S&W adjustable sights.

I have always liked the Bearcats with the S&W adjustable sights. There's a Bearcat page. On that page, there's a note that the 32 conversions are discontinued.

The Bearcats all come with new barrels. Bore diameter is .311" and throats are .312".
Unfortunate that these useful conversions have been discontinued. But, a tremendous amount of work involved in them.
I bought three of the adjustable sight Lipsey's guns. The first one was turned into a 22 Magnum by Reeder. It is my most carried revolver.
The second went to Clements for this conversion.
The third may be turned into a 6" 22 Magnum by Clements and get a custom holster. Would be very useful for me.

I appreciate all the comments and CMH for posting the pictures.
As can be seen, I got Dave to add a Lanyard Ring. I thought it would compliment the small packing piece.
As expected the build is typical Clements work, flawless.
I hope we get to see all, or at least most, of these guns posted on here.
