I'm having trouble locating 30mm rings for my new CZ. I really don't want to go the route of a picatiny, would rather utilize the dovetail as it's a 22 with no recoil. Any suggestions from current owners?

Yes they do, I have Talleys on the rimfires, and Warne’s on 527s and 550s, both fixed and quick detach lever. The vertical splits look pretty classy, slim and smooth, especially the fixed mounts.

Nice, the Tally’s look great, and while not the cheapest option out there, will be top shelf quality.

tHOSE ARE GOOD LOOKING RINGS, OF COURSE THEY ARE OUT OF THE ONES i'D LIKE. tALLEY'S ON THE WAY. i GOT THE lighter SEAR FROM dip, WILL POST PICS ONCE THE SCOPE IS ON. caps button down ***** By all means. please report on results with your DIP sear, and the rings. You’re good with pictures, so a graphic or two to illustrate.... I have the long DIP 11mm base on a 452 Ultra Lux, which extends beyond the receiver ring to accommodate a long scope. The DIP short base ends flush with the receiver ring. (These bases slide on the CZ dovetail cuts snugly, so I suggest fingernail polish or light oil to prevent abrasion of bluing. The DIP mounts are dimensionally firm and cleanly made. The DIP CZ base is flat across the top in the Picatinny-style. A Weaver-style trough would provide a clearer picture for the well made CZ tangent rear & hooded post front sights. Quick detachable rings are the way to go with an iron sight CZ; once secured with light pressure from the set screws, you don’t want to remove the dovetail base to use the irons. As I recall, the CZ 452 American receiver has a narrower, 3/8” dovetail, and a respective base or ring must be used. David Bradshaw

I'm hoping the Talley's will allow rearward enough mounting so I don't have to climb up on the gun, requiring the use of a base and different rings. Will photo report on the innards swap. Mr. Bradshaw your measurements on the dovetail are correct. The trigger guard is back ordered, along with the action screws.

I have three variations of the DIP trigger guard on CZ 452/455's. I also have one from this guy: www.m.ebay.com/itm/CZ-452-steel-trigger-guard-new-22-Lr-17-Hm2-/273620244916?nav=SEARCHIt's even better in my opinion. Cheaper, and in stock too. The new 457 Lux I brought home today is a truly impressive little rifle. Nobody is gonna be replacing trigger guards on these. Lastly, here is a handy chart from the DIP website. If you are NOT sure about the dovetail size of your CZ, measure the widest part(top): Approximately: 0.400" = 3/8”; 0.430" = 11mm

majorKAP..... corrected your measurements. 11mm (.430”) dovetail is wider than 3/8” (.400’). Thank for posting the dovetail chart for CZ rimfires. Those shopping for a mount or direct-clamp rings should look closely. It’s ridiculous! I rolled around on the floor for a while before ordering. Tried like fury to find a Leupold or other ring to direct-clamp to the 11mm dovetail. I do not cotton to vertically split rings. David Bradshaw

Thank you Mr. Bradshaw. The measurments which you corrected for me was a direct copy-and-paste from the DIP website. It was accurate, as it is below:
"If you are NOT sure about the dovetail size of your CZ, measure the widest part(top): Approximately: .500 = 3/8 .430 = 11mm"
It is confusing in that the narrower dovetailed groove (3/8") on the CZ rifles has a top rail which is wider than that on their 11mm rail rifles.
The confusion lies in the fact that we are measuring apples and oranges.
It is the inner dovetailed GROOVE of the rails which measures 3/8", not the flat upper portion of the rail upon which the rings sit. That explains why the 3/8" dovetailed rail on the CZ American rimfires can measure at half an inch across the top.
A metric machinist measures differently. That being, the dovetail edge to edge at the widest point. On some of the CZ rimfires that would be across the flat top...in this case, 11mm.
That nearly drove me nuts until I had it figured out.
