Passed through the shop... Went by the Dillon 1050.. Couldn't help myself. Six minutes later I had produced 100 rounds loaded with Magnus 200 grain SWCs, Federal primers, 3.5 grains of bullseye, in mixed brass.

didn't want to start a new thread, but thought I'd post here what I did to keep me busy the other day. 185 grain hp 230 grain hp 200 grain cast swc Went thru 2200+ Wolf LPP I acquired a few years ago to use them up. We;; and for something to do, this is all practice ammo as I do carry Law Enforcement ammo for PP, the only ammo I din't reload! I think my elbow on my right arm is letting me know, this is no longer a one day job. Even if it's a walk in the park got the Dillon, it's a workout on my old joints!

Nothing fancy... just some .44 mag starting loads with CFE-Pistol and 240 grain jsp bullets for the S&W 69.
The .45 Colt keeps calling to me from the safe, so I'm sure it will be getting some loads built soon also.

I loaded some 327's yesterday with Sledgehammers and H110. I finally got my FA97 in 327 running the way I hoped it would run (a hot rod) and I'm in a final hunt for "the load". Man this thing is finicky. Primers for all of my larger FA's make some slight differences, but the 327 shows clear preference in accuracy and primer appearance after being fired. This thing wants a SPM and it likes Federal over CCI with H110. I plan to try some AA9 or Bluedot when I can get to my component seller.

Yesterday I got about 200 44mag cases , older and mixed, past the first two dies. With a single stage press, this an obvious stopping point. Today the commitment to primer, load. Gonna be deepseated SWC's for the M69. Going to use either Power Pistol or Longshot. To be a play, plinking load. Frog Smackin' load.

I found the same thing in the longer Ruger cylinder they use in the GP-100, I was crimping in the top grease ring with 140 grain Mihec. I got my best results once I used Federal 205M's small Rifle Bench Rest Primers. Once I went to them I had 4 different cast bullets from 100 grain 115, 126, and that 140 that were tack drivers with H-110 AA#9, and 2400. The H-110 for me proved a little slow and required heavily compressed charges of H-110, with that heavy 140 grain bullet. seated out as far as I could! But AA#9 and 2400 worked good with that same primer, standard and magnum pistol primers just didn't turn in as good a loads, aor at least as easily as was capable with the 205M's

I see where AA9 may be the speed champ for the 327 and the relatively heavy's. I've still got meat on the bone with H110 and should be able to see where I can go this weekend. I am going to go up in .3 grain increments with this small case. I also have an Accurate Molds 31-126D to play with. All of the Accurate Molds LFN style molds I have shoot very well and I expect the same with this one.

This afternoon I loaded some stout (but not ridiculous) .25 ACP. Yes among her other guns Linda has a Colt Junior, and while these rounds will work for that I'll probably wind up shooting them out of my .251 TCR revolvers. I loaded some Rimrock 55gr. hard cast LRN-FPs, which will make dandy small game rounds from those revolvers.

Was gonna start a poll here. As to deepseating the Missouri Bullet 240gr SWC in 44mag brass and wanting in the 44spec-ish 750fps area. Using Power Pistol. But did some google-fu, checked books, burned incense(not), my guesstimate (7grs) was spot on ! Velos ran 742-774 fps. Liked what I saw and ran off enough for a green box. The rest jumped to LongShot powder. Will test some and finish the rest today.
