thanks Lee, I never get tied of seeing rare guns!
I do have a question for you, are the welds on a barrel preformed on a finished barrel (in the white of course) or do you you have to reheat treat the barrel after welding the ring on? I ask because I'm a pretty good tig welder and have thought about trying a few ideas.

When we made the kits, we milled the 2 flats on the barrel and then welded the lugs on. No re heattreating done. The welds are very short and we never had any problems reported.
