thanks Lee, I never get tied of seeing rare guns! I do have a question for you, are the welds on a barrel preformed on a finished barrel (in the white of course) or do you you have to reheat treat the barrel after welding the ring on? I ask because I'm a pretty good tig welder and have thought about trying a few ideas.

When we made the kits, we milled the 2 flats on the barrel and then welded the lugs on. No re heattreating done. The welds are very short and we never had any problems reported.

Ah, yes. The Quick Kit is what I was thinking of. I should have found the correct name before I posted. No sweat mang, it's all good.
