X-Mas wishlist
That Ruger would make single six in a lightweight version and that they would put adjustable sights on the 6inch bearcat Either one or the other

Ruger already made a Lightweight Single-Six. Back in the late 1950's. Marketing failure,,,, collecor's dreams. The early boxes for a LWT are more expensive than the guns & the guns aren't cheap. I paid $1600 for a package a few years back,,,!

They're making a blue Single Seven with the aluminum grip frame that would qualify....
7 holes .31x in diameter.....

Contender, you did WHAT with $1600.00 ? Not at all unreasonable & one of the better investments for the serious Ruger collector.

Or you could take 2 Dogs approach and build a lightweight single six by scallops, frame thinning, grip frame mass removal and even hammer skeletonizing! Make all the important holes 32 size and viola! A lightweight single six!

Be still my collector heart,, and keep my hand away from my wallet! That gun listed is what we call a "all black" Lightweight. I have a nice one in my collection. I was cruising tables at a gun show one friday night after I got my stuff set up,, and spotted it. The seller,,, I knew,,, and when I asked to see it,,, I knew it was going with me. I asked how much,, and he obviously didn't know what it was. I got it for "normal" 3 screw SS pricing. As old Phil says; "Happy, Happy, Happy!"

There is a fine line between helping and being an enabler.

The link to Collector’s that Greg put up isn’t working for me, but I’m guessing it is a LWT Single Six. I got my steel cylindered Lightweight from Collector’s Firearms in Houston a few years back. They have everything, maybe two of everything, but typically not inexpensive. The Lightweight had some homebrewed SBH sized grip panels on the original grip frame and I paid way less than $300. I also first saw Alan Harton wandering around there that day. The store clerks were talking about him. I went home and Googled him, found this website, and the rest has been an interesting journey. Thanks again to Lee for the site and all the rest of you for everything else. Back to the regular programming.... Tim
