I like it!
Curious, what's the OAL on the cylinder?
A standard Blackhawk frame window will almost accommodate a 357 max round, so I'd imagine this cylinder could get you pretty close to that kind of OAL, but with more appropriate crimping given the 1.4 brass.
Is there any chance you've got chrono data for the gun and your loads?
I'd imagine it should sell, but if not I'm hoping you open up to trades!

I never used my Oehler 35p on any of the various loads I assembled.

That seems short for an oversized cylinder?

Okay what happened? There was a post from a guy saying he wanted it. Now it's gone?
I'd be interested in knowing what he did to it in the building of it. Looks like the factory barrel, wonder if it was line bored? Is the action blocked? I've long wanted to find a shooter 357Max to "bisley-ize" or find a 357 Bisley to rechamber to Bain and Davis. This is also very interesting. lol

That seems short for an oversized cylinder? You're right, that is short. I tried to measure the cylinder fore and aft, not including the ratchet and front hub? while it was still assembled in the gun. This morning I took it out to remeasure. I discovered that my old RCBS caliber is giving a discrepant reading between the dial and the slide. I'll walk out to the shop in a bit and retrieve a proper tool.

Ive been talking with the seller on this and there has been a change of heart. It’s going back to Clements to get dressed up. Here’s part of the conversation...
“I called Clements this morning. Turns out, he knows my town here in KY. His wife has family here known to me. Small world.
Anyway, I have a Ron Powers #5 grip frame, hammer and trigger. I asked if he would fit and finish them to my gun. He declined.
After he mentioned that my gun is the ONLY one he's ever done in that caliber, I decided to send it back to him for the follwing:
Cut barrel to 5", remove the warning.
Full length ejector assembly with crescent head.
Pinned sight with two gold bars.
Flute and chamfer the line-bored cylinder.
Replace stainless Bisley parts with carbon steel parts.
Remove RUGER and 357 caliber markings, replace with his own.
Deck grip frame and fit grips cut from walnut block that I'll supply.
Color case frame, high polish blue the remainder.
I sent the order from in today. He's not accepting guns right now since he's "run out of room" to store them. He said that he'll contact me in January, not to be in a hurry. Incidentally, he and his wife have been looking at properties with an interest in relocating to Kentucky. I hope he becomes my next door neighbor!”
