This one arrived from Louisville last week. Had some trials finding a gun without the cursed "R" on the frame but finally got one. Started as a .44 magnum, re-chambered to a recessed head .45 Colt with an auxiliary cylinder from an OM .41 that will shoot .45 ACP without moon clips AND is recessed to allow the use of .45AR. The Power custom grip frame is fit to perfection. If you folks haven't seen what can be done with one of these, it's a treat. Custom one piece walnut grips from the shop of Rob Rowan. Once again the fit and the wood itself are remarkable. Nitre blue trigger and screws down to the one securing the sight blade in the express style front. That little bit of shine on that screw and the ERH screw is sweet. Wish you could see the blue trigger better in the pics.... David Clements supplied the bisley hammer and Doug Turnbull did the case coloring. Finally the little dimple in the ER head is a nice detail. It's pretty amazing to think that more than 5 craftsmen were involved to making this happen in addition to Ruger.

Another sweet one Bushog! No wonder David is out of his own hammers, you’ve got them all!
You must be on that “custom per quarter” plan where a goody box shows up every three months.

I remember years like that. There actually was a list of what was with who, what parts had been sent and how much prepaid in each one. Luckily the “still out there list” has been shrinking for a few years and should just about coincide with the change in the business status this winter. Kind of neat how much this 45 looks like this old model 44 Special by Ben.
