Every so often I get the urge to build something from scratch, I started this over a year ago, but just tonight put the finishing touches on it. The barrel is 2", and excepting the grips it's 1/2" thick. Not terribly useful, but a fun build.

In 38spec, bet ya could sell them all day long at a gunshow. I'd be in line. Had the itch for a 44 for awhile but soon realized as made now, bulk, size, weight nearly the same as my 5 shot CA Bulldog, so..

The problem is that a) I would need to be a licensed manufacturer, which is expensive and a huge PITA and b)they would be absurdly expensive if I charged a reasonable amount for labor. I think that I'll just keep this as a hobby thing.

Neat work...my question is where did you get the ammo... I used to get two bricks of .22 Shorts and a brink of Long Rifle for Christmas back in the 1960s and have not seen SEARS red boxes in over 40 years...

Bob I inherited seven bricks of this stuff when my Uncle Jim passed away. Maybe 50 years old, but it functions perfectly.

this is funny- the taped holes are from when I tried to aim using the rib (at 3 yards.) After I taped the holes I ran the target to three yards again and fired several shots just pointing at the target. Not a fan of point-shooting, but the results speak for themselves in this case.
