I get several email sale notices from different sources and notice Fiocchi primers on sale by all of them. I have never tried them. Anyone here like or dislike them? Any opinions?

I bought some small pistol primers during the last shortage to load 9mm for USPSA. I don't remember anything about them, so they couldn't have been that bad. (though I should check, I may never have used any )

I've never used their rifle of pistol primer but have used a lot of their shotgun primers. Never had an issue with them.

All the fiocchi ammo I’ve shot has always performed well, I’m guessing they use their own primers.

While I don't have any Fiocchi primers, I have used a good bit of their ammo. Every single one fired OK...

Just had a light strike on a Fiocchi .45 ACP round in my Glock 30S. I also clocked the ammo averaging over 960 fps. I chronied it after I got a multitude of bulged .45 ACP cases. Not buying anymore Fiocchi ammo myself.

They make fine ammo with quality components in my experience. I've fired thousands of 9mm 30 Luger & 30 Mauser through my Luger's & Mauser C-96 pistols without any issues. Like most European ammunition, it tends to be loaded warmer than American ammo.

I bought a package of 1500 at a very decent price. Used four or five hundred of them with no issues. Then for some strange reason I got three or four squib loads out of maybe 25 rounds loaded where the primer popped but didn't ignite the 2400 powder behind pushing the bullet just far enough out of the case to tie up the cylinder. None of the powder had ignited. At that point I stopped using the fiocchi primers and switched back to CCI with the same batch of powder and never had any more problems.
