Anyone have brass grip frames on CCH SA's? I'm plotting on a piece (tight chambered 45 colt on my 44 anniversary flattop, with a brass Bisley GF) Trying to decide about CCH the frame or leave it blue. I'm afraid that CCH and brass together might be too "busy".

I personally think a CCH frame, brass gripframe, and high polished/carbona/nitre blued everything else just oozes "class" and looks darn good to boot

I've never been enamored of the brass/CCH look, but do have an old EMF "Dakota" that sported it. However, I really like the silver plated/CCH combo used on the Colt 1851 2nd gen guns.

I've always been a sucker for the looks of the old cap and ball Colt's but my 45 Colt OM is all blue with a brass frame.
