I started the non paying bidder procesd. More I think about it, he had the info before he bid. Sounds like buyer's remorse to me. Plus his emails were highly inappropriate.

I bid on a new old stock 1917 Colt barrel on GB about 12 or 15 years ago, missed a decimal and ended bidding $1250 on it. I held my breath afraid someone really needed it, and would bid a grand. I think I gave about $285.00 for it. That was a good amount of money, back then.

Hopefully rectified. Once I started the process, the gentleman is sending payment. Hated the process, but a winning bid is a contract in my mind.

On a related note, I saw a real nice USFA revolver sell on Saturday. It was unfired, unturned, engraved and casehardened. Verified by the loading gate that it was USFA made. The new owner traded in a 1959 Three screw .357 and S&W Custom shop 686 for it. Me, I'd have preferred the 3 screw.
