I've always liked them on a Ruger, too. I still have a set on a custom Single-Six.

I agree they dont look bad but I prefer the MOP on a stainless gun, give me wood on a CCH or all blue gun.

I wonder if it is the contrast that people don't like or is it just the look of the pearl......? I also like the look of ivory on blue guns. Is there as much negative feeling with ivory or is it just MOP? I would like to hear from some of those who really don't like the look just to know why.
The MOP grips kind of remins me of Dolly Parton's platinum blond wigs....and you know Dolly once said that it cost her a lot of money to look that cheap!

The best I can explain about ivory is that it seams to be alive when it's in your hand. I know that sounds crazy but it's as well as I can put it into words.
