I picked up one of these last week... www.springfield-armory.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/PC9610RMR18-1.pdfSo far I'm very pleased with it...other than the red dot went out on me twice! I put a box of Remington UMC 180gr MC through it as well as some 200 gr. WFNGC that I loaded. 4 shots of the cast were under 1" at 25 yards, which is all I could fit in the magazine. The wide bullets don't quite fit like they do in Glock 40 mags. I'll keep playing with it though. It will probably be my bear gun when September rolls around.

Hey Ry can you elaborate on the red dot going out on you? That’s a great looking setup! I see one in my future! Please keep posting you results!

Hey Ry can you elaborate on the red dot going out on you? That’s a great looking setup! I see one in my future! Please keep posting you results! Twice while shooting the dot "disappeared", as if it was shut off. I slapped the side of it a couple of times and it came back on - the first time it happened. The second time I tried to turn it back on with the two on/off pads located on either side but that didn't work. Slapping the side again with my fingers caused the dot to return. I'm guessing there's a connection issue with the battery but haven't had a chance to pull it apart yet. A buddy has it right now. He has a little more free time than I do at the moment so I'll see what he comes up with.

It doesn't say in the specs which generation RMR that is (at least not that I can see) but the way I understand it, the Gen 1 RMRs have developed a reputation for losing contact under recoil. There are companies that make a bottom plate that is supposed to fix the issue and Trijicon is said to have addressed the issue on the Gen 2.

Be careful, I broke one trying to “fix” it then talked with a buddy here from forums and his fix is MUCH better. He puts a drop of silicone on the back of the battery. When it’s dry, reinsert and it won’t let the battery move as it gives it a tighter fit without any alterations of the unit itself. I’m going to do that with a lot of batteries I have laying around and pop one in all my RMRs.

The Ruger Talo Night Watchman 10mm is finally out now! Just ordered one from my LGS who surprisingly had the best price OTD. There are a few on GB. Will report back when I get it.

Got this home today, looks like a pretty decent pistol.

Shot it today with a couple of factory loads, S&B and MagTech. Shot both pretty well, S&B a bit better. Function was perfect with two shooters and both ammo and both mags. Shot to the sights as well. Only issue was grip panels coming loose, but got that fixed. Think it will be a good pistol.
