Stan, my friend and associate at our clinics and our remote mine has 4 amazing daughters, who are real hunters ! this year was the youngest one's time to be on the bear stand...and she, like her next oldest sister,chose the crossbow and practiced until every shot was dead center at 25 yds

is that not the cutest thing ?! she is really bright and a superb student and just fun and entertaining.....really she is a treasure like all her sisters

Stan is truly blessed and i am blessed to have him and his wife and daughters as dear friends ....the girls go out to the remote mining sight with us and they are a hoot to be around !

Where would you shoot a color phase black bear in Alaska? Great job girls, I love it when a parent takes the kids hunting!!!

these bears were all out at Northway, out past Tok.

one of these girls' friends, a 13 year old teen herself, got a nice grizzly off one of these same stands, a couple years ago. the black bear that was coming in, ran away, and suddenly there was a grizzly there.....the winchester 94 in 30/30 worked just fine for it too.

we have a huge overpopulation of grizzlies and black bears in many areas, and that area at Tok, Northway, Chicken, Boundary etc is over run with bears .....fish and game really encourages us to take bears whenever we can.
