I picked up a LaRue 6.5 creedmoor. I ordered #200 of the hornady 140hpbt. I have preordered a Bushnell LRHSi 4.5-18x44 with lighted G2h reticle form GA Precision, but it wont be in until mid july at the earliest. Mounted a scope that I bought at a NWTF banquet a few years ago. It is a Quigley-Ford 4-16x50 hunting scope that is calibrated for the 140gr 6.5's at 2740fps. I bought it for a MGM encore rifle barrel that I have but I never mounted it. Figured Id play with it until the Bushnell arrives. LaRue lower has a Amercican Trigger Corp AR Gold trigger.
Stopped by cabelas after church Sunday and bought a box of the Win 125 gr extreme points to get the scope on. Took a couple shots at 50yds to get it close and then moved back to 100 yds to get it on. 3 shot groups were all in the 1" or less range. I'm hoping that it will tighten up as it gets broke in.
Pics to follow.

The 6.5 Creedmoor is the best thing to come along in a LONG time. I've never competed with mine . Nor gone crazy burning up the theory by excessive target shooting . But, I have filled my freezer a few times with caribou I shot with it. They are so easy to shoot well that its almost cheating. Congratulations !

H4350 is your friend. Try some of the 130 grainers in the auto. Should work well. My 6.5 bolt is insanely accurate. Best grouping gun I’ve ever fired. I run 140s in the bolt gun. Berger Hybrids. They make a 130 for the autos. . I have an auto but haven’t finished it yet. Need to put it together soon. Krieger barrel and Mega MATEN parts. I’ll be running 130s in mine. I may have Norma diamonds in 130, can’t remember. With the 140s, I load about 41 grains of the 4350. Not the fastest load but shoots better than anything you have ever seen. Good luck with it!
