Im a bit obsessed with 6.5mm guns. Started in the 80s with a surplus 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser.
Now, Ive decided to give the Grendel a try.
The centerpiece of this will be a CZ 527 Deluxe. Ive also added an EABCO 264 LBC 24" G2 Carbine and a MGM 13" 6.5 Grendel G2 Pistol.
Things will get rolling tomorrow. If any are interested, Ill report here.

Please do post your progress and findings. The cartridge appeals to me, although I've been looking for an upper to add for my AR15 battery.

I should point out the 264 LBC is the match grade chambering of the 6.5 Grendel.
In a bolt gun or single shot, it offers a few advantages. I had the G2 Pistol chamber cut to match it.

Dougader, I’ve got a 20” Grendel I’d consider parting out. If you’re interested pm me and I’ll get you details.

Picked up this fine little rifle this morning.
It came with very high quality CZ Rings, so all that was needed was a scope.
For this petit gun, I chose a Burris Short Mag 3-9x. This small stature scope just looks right on the gun. The generous 4.5" of eye relief and mil-dot reticle are an added bonus.
My only complaint so far are the slotted screws on the scope rings. I prefer the torx bits, but mounting went without a hitch.
I've got rimfires that weigh more. Look forward to shooting this gun.

Did you take a look at the howa 1500 mini action 6.5 grendal? Purty sweet! I did and the Ruger American too. Both much cheaper, but no where near the quality of the CZ. Sure both are fine rifles and shoot well. But, the finely machined and finished steel and beautiful walnut made me buy the CZ.

I've got a 527 with a maple stock in 204. Agree on the quality of the finish and lack of machining marks. It cloverleafs 40 grainers at a hundred. Does yous have the single set trigger?
