Took a stainless Interarm arms PPK, an Iver Johnson TP 22 and a Bianchi holster that fits both out of safe. Thinking might sell some guns I haven't shot for a very long time...
Took me on a trip down memory lane... Winter 91/92, was new boss, inherited employee with "issues", who voiced desire to kill me, who scared bejeebers out of other employees, who threatened to sue if terminated, and who had office in betweeen mine and only exit on that hall. Really expected the person to attempt to kill me. Made a trip and bought the PPK used off a LEO who had carried it while undercover. Kept it in holster taped to bottom of desk (while working). Seemed like the best compact option at the time. Was totally illegal in Illinois, but... Eventually did terminate the employee and win the subsequent lawsuit.
The TP 22 was actually recommended by Mas Ayood once long ago as an option one of his students used since he couldn't carry something bigger.
Carried the ppk this weekend. Not bad guns.
Any idea what they may be worth if decide to sell?

...better be arrested than dead...
The PPK is a PPK not a PPK/S correct? As I recall Interarms was making both at the time in .380... Pre-S&W made guns will usually bring in the $500s.
The TP-22 was a nice little gun...have not seen one sell for a while but I am going to guess high $200s...

That was my thinking!
I will double check, but about 98% sure it is PPK and not PPKS.
The TP22 is actually not a bad practice gun for PPK. Pretty similar in size, function, trigger characteristics, etc really.
Enjoyed packing the PPK over weekend and it is a solid little gun, but got a hankering for a Sig P365 so seriously thinking...
THANKS!

After labor law attorney said documentation was sufficient, I terminated employment. Got sued and we won. Saw rarely since, heard some rumblings about comments being made (going to get me) for several months afterwards, but no actions and nothing at all for a very long time.

If I remember right, the PPK was a victim of the GCA’68 (too small). It should sell for more than a PPK/S.

JSutterThat's my recollection as well - the PPK/S is a PP frame mated to a PPK slide and barrel to make it larger and thus a suitable "sporting" firearm for import under GCA'68. Eventually Walther started making the PPK directly in the United States which pushed the import restrictions off the table.
