That's a good deal if it stays around $3k. Possibly worth the BIN given what a new octagon barreled FA costs and that it's essentially new.

Looks like the standard FA Express rear sight to me, not a Bowen, as claimed. I don't get why people throw away a FA Warranty to build a JRH, rather than buying a WE. Same / same performance / loads, etc. Of course, its their money, not mine. Beautiful grip panels on this one.

My question would be "Where is the 500WE cylinder?"

Did Bowen ever make a FA sight?
I guess JRH is the warranty service on that gun now. But really, what warranty work is needed except the occasional spring? I haven't heard of much else breaking.
I have to assume the owner spent less on the base gun since it was the ubiquitous 454. The simpler conversion is starting with a FA 500 WE or 50 AE and having an extra cylinder built. Factory warranty intact, value increased as a convertible, cost to build likely not appreciably higher.
Does anybody see caliber markings on the gun?
