Greetings all I just added an El Dorado 4 5/8 to my collection. The serial number is 6 digits off of my other one that is also 4 5/8.. The first has beautiful polished hand fitted grips., The one I just found has a ported barrel., It certainly looks factory and the pistol seems unfired. How common is an El Dorado that is ported?
Thanks for any thoughts Lost in Texas Caprock Louis

I have two El Dorados 44S 1506 ported 44S 1498 Very nice grips well fitted Different grips from what appears normal for my 4 Abilenes and onw Stainless 7 1/2 Seville Both Dorados appear unfired Have 8 1/2 Abilene appears unfired None of these appear fired or if so very little. Unusual to me on these revolvers. Both El Dorados are United Sporting Arms Hauppage NY Caprock Louis

Nice pics, MajorKap
That Laredo looks quite unusual:
The front of the cylinder has a taper cut. Wow ! What kind of impact does that have?
The two tones of the frame and trigger group are outstanding. I have yet to get to handle a Chimney Rock sixgun. The pictures make it look like something special, even for USA folks. How do you compare it to the Hauppauge and Tucson models?
