What a facinating little gun. So light and yet still recoils so soft. Full up Volquartsen inards in the 22/45 frame eliminates the magazine diaconnector and provides a clean crisp 2 pound trigger. Pictures soon...

I've got a MkII with their 4.5" upper, along with some VQ innards & smoothing. Incredible gun that my wife "adopted" the first time she shot it. She's been bugging me to look into getting it threaded, as she's jealous of being able to run a can on my TacSol'd Buckmark.

They really are a blast and those T.S. barrels really are great shooters.
I've just picked up the complete Volquartsen grip frames with innerds when they come up for auction on GB.
Sometime they even have ones with blems (that I can't find) for good prices....

Installed a Tandemcross extractor and this gun has become a 100% gun with CCI SV.

Like Carl, I have the same barrel/receiver also on a Mk-11 grip-frame, it is sweet. With a less than five inch barrel, mine keeps bulk pack Federal ammo subsonic through a suppressor. See my public service announcement in the lounge.

This is really making me want to either pick up a 22/45 Lite or another Buckmark to trick out...

No specific weight numbers to report but this think is light. Lifting the bag with the gun and 5 magazines you'd think the bag was empty

I quit messing with Ruger .22 Auto pistols. Switched to Browning Buckmarks. TacSol BBls. are great! Just have to be careful about any dryfire. Chamber edge is soft and will peen quick. I also have a Ruger 10/22 set up with a TacSol bbl. Both guns are for Steel Challenge shooting. I use chamber flags after I show clear so I dont have to pull the trigger on a empty chamber.

A firing pin properly installed in the bolt should not strike the chamber in the Ruger Platform. I've owned a few through the years and have NEVER had a problem with the firing pin striking the chamber edge.

Shot this thing off a bag at 45 feet and was pleasantly surprised. More magazine extended basepads arrived. Kanewolf slingshot bolt stop too... Ransom Rest grip inserts for the 22/45 frame are back ordered.
