Looks like a maybe a good value as a shooter, but I wonder what's up with that side plate/frame seam? The finish work doesn't look up to their usual standards. www.gunbroker.com/item/754907145

I'm guessing Bowen trigger/self polish. Factory logo on passenger side looks like the buffing wheel was at super high speed.

Reading comprehension has never been my strong suit lol. So it's an over polished model 28 with a Bowen trigger job, 27 grips. I'm not into N frames, but it seems like an unaltered but clean model 28 would be a better starting point for a shooter- then have action work done if needed and leave the finish original.

Was worth more before Bubba used a wire wheel to start his cleanup job!

www.gunbroker.com/item/754907145[/quote] ***** This is what happens when a cannibal with a polishing wheel gets near a gun. The result is junk. I’d be real careful dropping Hamilton Bowen’s name anywhere near this trash. David Bradshaw
