Still trying to settle on how to build my guns..
Bite the bullet and order a FA 97 in 41 mag
or convert a NewVaquero ...
The first will be a Fixed sight with a 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 in barrel.
The second A poor mans No#5
If a Ruger , a New Vaquero Bisley 5 1/2 with a S&W J frame
adjustable sight and maybe shorten the grip..
Suggestions please. I know there are Pros and Cons to each
Ps They WILL be stainless and I have a Montado in 45colt
as a pattern...

for your adjustable sighted gun -
Hardchroming a converted 357 anniversary is cheaper than installing S&W sights on a Vaquero.

I just worked through the decision trees on a couple .41 projects myself. PM sent.

+1 on hardchroming to get to a stainless look on a 41... I stumbled on a chromed NM 41 BH a while back... My Clements #5 is a hard chromed converted anniversary 357.. IMHO hard chrome looks good on these two...
