I just picked up a blued 357 Mag. Seville. It could stand to be refinished. Then I got to thinking about converting it to another caliber. You guys ever have a custom Sellive built? Can they handle the same pressures as a Ruger?

Sevilles are as strong as a NM Blackhawk. What caliber are you thinking of having it converted to? -Lee www.singleactions.com

Thinkin about doing a 45 Colt with tight chambers. I wasn't sure if it was ruger strong though. Sound like I could convert it and use Ruger data. Thanks.

Definitely strong enough. In fact, John Linebaugh's first heavy 45 Colts were done on Sevilles & Abilenes. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Ugh, please don't convert The Max.
I would kill for a Seville Max if you would like to flip it and buy a Ruger and have it converted...
