Say it ain't so!
Just when Ruger starts marking the serial numbers on guns so that we can build 5 shot conversions on them without disturbing them the discontinue the best base gun EVER!!!
Anybody seen any of the newer guns? Are the serial numbers engraved (or whatever) instead of stamped?

I say that in the sale on the Ruger Forum and thought the same thing. Does anybody know if a replacement is coming?

Oh. It isn't. You are right. There's the hunter maybe that's what I'm thinking thinking of.

Here's one on the right. I know they did Bisley Hunters for a while. They'll continue for a while as Distributor's Exclusive's if the demand is there.

I've heard that they had turned some blued guns with the etched S/N. When I learned they were discontinuing them I ordered one last gun and of the four the dealer had all had stamped S/Ns and only one had the numbers far enough away to be usable.

I want to know about the blue ones.... I know where some unfired ones are when you’re in dire straights but the prices are crazy bad! 😜 Are there Bisley frames in the white available still? Haven’t looked in a while, may be a good time to grab some if they are and you’re planning some builds?

Problem is the guys building the guns are getting +/- $500 to install one of the grip frames....
The new grip frames in the white are the worst as they require the most file work to fit them....
Hey! this is my 3000th post.....do I get a prize??
