As the title says, I'm wanting a Texas Jockstrap holster for a full size 1911. I know of a couple of possible sources, and I'm waiting for responses to emails. Can anyone recommend a source?

American Classic Gunleather Yes, I have already contacted him and Lobo Gun Leather. Waiting for a response from Lobo. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

El Paso Saddlery makes the "1897 Sweetwater" and Purdy Gear shows a holster /belt package called the "Hoosier's Gun Rig". Not sure if the holster is available by itself. Edit to add: Neither of these were specified for 1911's. whoops... I would email Doc Barranti and ask him. The guy has more tricks up his sleeve than a family of spiders at a sweater knitting convention.

Yeah, El Paso Saddlery was the first place I looked. Unfortunately, they don't offer their 1897 Sweetwater holster for the 1911. Barranti was the second place, and Simply Rugged was the third. I just received a floral carved 120 holster from Simply Rugged a week or so ago - a beautiful piece of work, by the way! Too bad it'll be a couple of years before I can put it to work (no personally owned guns for us roundeyes here in Korea).
I looked at Old West Reproductions, and their holster looks nice. There's also one on Gun Broker from a company that I'm not familiar with, but it looks like a quality piece.
I'll shoot Doc Barranti an email and see what he says about this.

I have an Old West Reproductions 1911 jockstrap holster and they don't get any better.
