The introduction of a GP100 in 44 special pulled the rug out from under some customs. Reeder, for example, has for sale one of his last conversions done before the factory version was brought out. I imagine he'll have a hard time moving it and recuperating his money.
This gun is different. Being a 6 shooter instead of 5, being of the magical 40 bore variety, the ability to shoot cheap 40S&W, and fast reloads with moon clips makes this appealing despite the factory 44 version.
If I was in the market it'd be a done deal for the BIN price.
