This buy is for a Miha brass cramer style gas check HP mold intended for heavy duty 32 magnum loads, 32-20's and the new 327 Federal. It should drop at 314" from the mold. From my Custom Harton 7 1/2" 32-20, I have driven this bullet at 1500 fps plus with excellent accuracy. This design should easily exceed 1400 fps with no strain on your revolver. It should weigh 140 grains in solid form and 135 grains in large HP form. Also included will be a small and medium HP pins. It is available in plain base and gas check. 2 or 4 cavity.

We can expect it to be priced as usual. Miha's molds are a tremendous value at any price and are the best I have ever used. This bullet has been a stunning success in every platform we have tried it in. We have sized it down to .309" to fit the Ruger .30 Carbine. We have deep seated it and shot it out of the Single Seven at 1300 plus fps. It is a perfect fit the the FA97 which also has the requisite strength to drive it at magnum velocity. There are the new 321 GNR (357 Mag necked to 32) by Reeder as well as his 30 GNR cartridges which would exceed even the 32-20 in the speed department. Jeff Hoover painted some red for my brother who shoots them out of his 30 caliber centerfire rifles!

It hits hard. We have shot big rangy Texas Jackrabbits and tough Idaho groundhogs with savage results. I noted the Sledgehammer even at over 100 yards landed on Jacks so hard it not only blew their engine block out of the chassis, it often dislodged a leg on the way out! We have run this buy many times and this one is clearly one of BobK's very best designs. Certainly one of his most popular and successful. If you don't have one, here is your chance to get one. I bought this last time it was run, but can't remember if it was plain base or gas checked. I looked at the old thread and it was offered only one way, but the picture is gone. To make matters worse, I can't find the mold. I have too many and it is difficult getting my hands on one. LOL

Do you remember its configuration last time, 2 dogs?

I'm not 2 Dogs, but you are missing the plain base one. This was only ran as a gas check previously. With the velocities possible, a PB version would likely need some base protection with a freechec, poly filler, poly wad or a harder alloy if you run it past 1,500 fps.

Edit: Fermin could add a plain base (PB) version to the GB. Miha would simply mill out the shank area for a plain base as he has done in the past.

Don't get all tied up looking at BobK's fine diagram boys. Check the fine print. You can certainly not only get a plain base, but we can put you in for a 2 cavity mold as well.

Hmmm.....

I was just looking through my "collection" of MP molds and seem to have two 4c plain base ones that are 314-140s.

These are plain base "Sledgehammer" molds if I'm not mistaken.

Please advise....
