Grip maker?

I just brought home a used new model Blackhawk with simulated pearl grips. I'd much prefer stock Ruger grips to stay with the feel of my other Rugers.

Question is, what are these, who is the manufacturer and are they of about equal value to stock grips? I'm considering trading them for some stock grip panels if it is worth the trouble, otherwise I'll probably scrap them and order new panels.

Those are Jay Scott aftermarket grips. They sold faux stags, faux pearls, and faux ivories with wood backing. I think these started being available in the 60s, and they may have lasted into the 90s. There are a lot of them around.

They are worth $30 or so on an ebay auction.

Based on that I don't believe they're worth the trouble, I'll order some factory Ruger and throw these into the junk drawer.
