Looks ready for a little mink oil, and weeks worth of backcountry wearing.

This Simply Rugged Sourdough was my everyday carry holster for close to a decade -- shown with the most carried M329. I doubt the subject holster will get anywhere near that much usage but it will be put to work. The original holster (shown below) was made before Rob went to Alaska and was hand sewn. It's amazing how far his work has evolved. FWIW, Paul

Reminds me that i never did order t silver dollar pancake for a ruger sp101 .327 like i had planned.
I couldnt decide whether to add the wilderbeest to it for an extra $40. Has anyone seen how the wilderbeest looks on one or how it holds up over time?

Thank you again Paul... My holster came in today and it is perfect... Black, safety strap, scallops along the top edge and although it is labeled for a 5" N my 6" 57 fits right to the end of the holster.

Came back to look at the carving again. I may be feeling a need for a new piece of leather for a M27.
