I've been a fairly serious cigar smoker for a number of years and always wanted to try a good Cuban to find out what all the fuss was about. Romeo y Julieta has always been one of my favorite cigar brands. The old man was in France last week and picked me up a box of their Cubans. Can't wait to pick them up Saturday. Oh yes!

As a former serious smoker of many Altadis USA brands (Romeo & Julieta being one), I always enjoyed the difference between the Dominican versions of the old true Cuban brands. While I smoked H Upmann more than any other, the best cigars I ever smoked was a box of Cuban Romeo & Julieta that found their way to me thru Dubai.
I never found the non Cuban Chohiba's to be even close to an H Upmann, but did smoke a few Cuban Chohiba's and they were fantastic. Truth be told, I've never had a bad true Cuban cigar, but I stayed with brands I know.
I'm jealous and know you'll enjoy every toke.....

Very good cigars. I would also recommend ghurka and 5 vegas.

My favorite are the Man O' War Ruination. I don't smoke a lot of cigars, but I usually reach for one of these when I do.

Nice! very best cigar I ever had was a Cuban partagas lusitania. It seemed that over the years I was slightly more likely to get a cuban that didn't draw well, But never had one that didn't taste fantastic.
