Are there any smiths out there who will work on guns besides Ruger, or Sevilles (if they still do that)?
I have a Herters .44 Mag, and a .458 barrel blank, I was thinking of having it made into a .458 five shooter, IF money is available.

Yes. Some years ago, I actually traded some factory .458 Win. mags I had acquired with other stuff, for empty brass of said same caliber, as I have no need for loaded rounds.
